Happy Birthday Aunt Lynne and Mommy!

A couple of weeks ago, we went to New Jersey to celebrate a big birthday for Aunt Lynne (and Mommy's, too, since they are only a day apart). Though it has taken me until now to post them, I made it before the end of the birthday month (thank goodness it's Leap Year)!

Since Zachary has such great control when holding his head up, we felt he was ready for his new chair! It's called the 3-Stage Super Seat by a company called Summer... he just LOVES it! (And so do Mommy and Daddy!) He looks like such a big boy when sitting in it and just so darn adorable!! We can't wait for Zach to be a bit bigger to attach the tray with toys for him to play with (stage 2 of the 3 stages)!

It's so fun to see him sitting, as the little man typically doesn't like to bend at the waist! If he had it his way, he'd have us hold him in a standing position all of the time. Maybe the seat will help to teach him that sitting up is fun, too!

The Latest and Greatest

Our little guy is more fun with every day that passes, and I think he gets cuter, too! (says a very proud and in love parent!) Here are some of his latest poses with Mommy and Daddy...

Zach just loves chillin' in the swing while Mommy has her morning cereal! He's making new sounds everyday, of which he's so proud! Every new discovery is followed by kicking, laughing and waving his arms. He really is a morning person... which makes one of us! (These pictures were taken earlier this week... he's growing soooo fast!)

He has the right idea...

Though he can't do it entirely on his own... we thought it was cute when he started doing this the other day as I stood him on my chest. Here he goes with a little help...

Where has the time gone? (catching up on the last 3 weeks)

Over the last few days we experienced spring-like weather, Susan and Zachary even found time to venture out on a few walks and enjoy the unusually warm temps.

Fortunately for us, Zachary has been great with road trips. Not sure if its the hum of the tires or his intuition that Grandparents are the final destination... Either way, we're not complaining!

Z hit 2 months last Sunday! His 2 month follow up visit to the doctor went well. He weighed in at 10 lbs. 10 oz. and extends 22.25 inches. Though he wasn't too happy about this last phase of vaccines, he seems to have recovered just fine.

So far mornings seem to be his happiest times.
