Our little boy is 3 months old today!

Where does the time go? As I lament over my return to work and having to leave the (other) love of my life in someone else's care, I have been reflecting on the past three months and how much one tiny human being can fulfill what I thought was already a pretty amazing life! I have treasured this precious time and am so grateful to have had this long. Don't get me wrong... I'm excited about getting back into the daily grind, but I just wish I could have it both ways... spend everyday with this amazing creature we created and maintain a career. The reality is, though, we can't have it both ways, so the bills dictate my full-time return to the professional arena. Though I will miss him terribly, I'm very excited about where Zachary will be going almost every weekday... we've found a wonderful day care center less than 1 mile from our home. As Len puts it, it's like a fraternity for babies! I hope Zach feels the same way... we'll see.

Here are a few pictures from the last couple of days, as we celebrate Zachary turning 3-months old today! He's growing so fast... since there is not a 3-month wellness visit to the doctor, we weighed him with our scale. Though it may not be totally accurate, our "chunky-monkey" (as I call him) is scaling in at about 13 lbs!

Hanging out with Mommy and Daddy after returning home from the annual Bel Air Chocolate Festival on Saturday afternoon. Does that mean I get chocolate milk for dinner tonight??
